Before You Travel

  • Confirm visa or ESTA approval and print confirmation.
  • Keep medication in original packaging with prescriptions.
  • Review agricultural and restricted items lists to avoid delays.
  • Declare currency over $10,000 and monetary instruments.

At the Port of Entry

  1. Follow signage to primary inspection; have passport and documents in hand.
  2. Provide fingerprints and photo for biometric verification.
  3. Answer inspection questions clearly and truthfully.
  4. If referred to secondary, remain available for additional verification.

Departure & Connections

Allow time for re-checking luggage and re-clearing security for connecting flights. Review airport maps and signage for international transfer counters.
